How should I care for my bowl?

After use clean with a mild soap and warm water, do not leave it to soak.

Dry with a fresh towel and leave to air dry before storage.

Please Do Not place in a dishwasher.

Periodically treat with a coat of soft beeswax ,mineral oil or walnut oil.

Please note that using vegetable oil, olive oil or similar food oils can turn sour or rancid over time.

Not suitable for Microwave or oven use.

Do you make all these products yourself?

Yes, all items are lovingly handcrafted by me at my woodshop.

Where do you get your wood?

All the woods I use are locally sourced. I use wood from storm felled trees or branches. Driftwood from the many nearby beaches. Trees or branches that have been removed by others for safety reasons. Wood i receive as gifts. Recycled wood from discarded or broken furniture and pallets also get up-cycled or recycled.
